After my 4 year stay at Valley, I went to Shepherd College (University) were I played Football for about 1 year until I got hurt, stayed and graduated with my BA in PE/Health Education in May of 2001. After that I traveled a little and caught up with a lot of family for about a year, working on and off. In late Spring of 2002 went to work for BB&T Bank in the Large City of Hamilton,Va does anyone know where that is? I was there for about 4 years, wasting all my money going out and not growing up. While at the bank, in the Fall of 2003 I meet a girl that would change my life (Sandy), we dated for a couple of years and then I had a moment of weakness and asked her to marry me, so in June of 2007 we got married. She helped me to find my true calling in life, so when I left the Bank in Dec, 2005 we had set a goal for me to go back to school to get my Doctorate in Physical Therapy; you may ask your self no Master's, well yes but its a 3 year, year round program which I will start in the Fall of 2008 at Shenandoah University. Since then all I have been doing is going back to school to finish up all my pre-requisites, now I work for a company called Prosynthesis Laboratories INC. They produce a product called Unjury which is a protein supplement use mainly by Bariatric patients. Well that brings me up to date.

Well, after high school I went to NOVA and GMU, I traveled overseas some, took a study course in Africa and went to Italy with my Mom. I moved around in Loudoun and Fairfax Counties, working for Loudoun County Parks and Recreation until I met my (future) husband. We were recently married down in North Carolina, honeymooned in St. Croix, and are now preparing to head down to Alabama, as Troy is going to Warrant Officer and Helicopter Flight schools. We hope to start having children soon, but the rest is a mystery! We'll see what happens.... :)

Well I have been working at the same preschool in Sterling for 8 years as the assistant director. I took a year off when I had Kaylee. After graduation, I traveled to Europe and spent three weeks in France and Spain. I then moved to Norfolk/Va Beach to attend Old Dominion University. After a couple years there, and not knowing what I wanted to do, I moved to Orlando, Florida. I began working at an advertising firm where I met my future husband Mike. Our son Joshua was born in December 2001, and I love being a mother. We moved back to Loudoun County at the end of 2002.
I returned to the medical field after moving back to Virginia, and worked as a PSR and Nursing Assistant. Mike and I were married in June of 2003 and bought our first home. I also attended NOVA, where I received my degree in general studies, and George Mason University where I received my paralegal certificate. Right after high school I attend NOVA for a year and decided it wasn't for me. I decided to move out with some friends and work for a living (in daycare). I was getting sick of working and going no where so I moved back home to save money for school. I turned 21 and all hell broke loose! I was out of control. I ended up getting pregnant with the person I was seeing and unfortunately he wanted nothing to do with me or the baby. I decided to have my little girl anyway and raise her on my own, and then things took a turn for the better and I met my husband when Mackensie was only 3 months old. I graduated from VA Tech in 2002 with a BS in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise with one emphasis in Exercise and another in Dietetics. The next year brought the biggest changes and surprises of my life. In January I met my now husband and at the same time noticed the lymph nodes in my neck getting larger. After almost a year of doctors shrugging their shoulders at me I was diagnosed with stage IIIB Hodgkin's Disease. I went through 6 months of chemo and have been in remission for over 3 1/2 years now.
Eight months out of treatments I started training and raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training program. I helped raise over $10k and competed in two Olympic distance triathlons. This program has been one of the best things to ever happened to me and if you ever get a chance, please sign up to do a TNT, Light the Night or Hike for Discovery event or make a donation to a participant. The amount of research done in the past 50 years has drastically changed the outcome for people with blood cancers.
In April 2006, I married a wonderful man named Damian and had a breathtaking honeymoon in Tahiti where we did our best to remember our high school French! Damian is a superintendent for a large concrete company in the DC area. He has worked on a lot of major projects in the area like the National Museum of the Marine Corps.
We had a baby boy in February of this year named Jackson. He is just such a great baby and has recently said his first word, Mama! We think being a parent is the best thing we've ever done and can't imagine a life without him!

I matriculated at the Virginia Military Institute as one of the first female cadets. I survived physics, math, and astronomy, and commissioned in the USAF. I was sent to the Air Force Institute of Technology for a M.S. in Applied Physics, and then to Kirtland AFB. At Kirtland, I worked on high power solid state lasers, and then satellite technology.
After 5 years I went into the USAF Reserves and continued to work at Air Force Research Labs as a civilian in satellite technology. Since High School I haven't done or seen much. Shortly after Graduation my parents fell ill and I spent a lot of my time and effort into making their last days as enjoyable as possible. I moved to Lucketts, VA with my high school sweetheart, Brent Titus, where his family owned and operated a beef cattle farm. Along with the farm, I worked small jobs and then fell into the printing industry in 1998 until 2001. September of 2001 I started working for Loudoun County Public Schools, Department for Personnel Services until December 2002.
On New Years Day of 2003, Brent and I moved to Old Fields, WV where we and Brent's younger brother and family purchased a 500 acre beef and poultry farm and named it Little Rock Farm. We are now full-time farmers with a herd of 120+ head of beef cattle, we also raise over 90,000 broiler chickens for Pilgrim's Pride. Pilgrim's Pride provides chicken for Boston Market, KFC and Con-Agra Foods. Two years ago, we decided to take on an HVAC business and opened Little Rock Heating & A/C which got itself off the ground and proved itself very successful. On top of the family businesses I drive a school bus for E.A.C.H.S Head Start. It's a great job, very rewarding and the children are a blast!
Brent and I married on June 4, 2005. And after receiving news that we may not be able to have children, we were blessed to find that I was pregnant this year on our 2 year anniversary. What a wonderful gift and miracle...one in which we are very proud of and praise God for everyday.
I still play softball after all these years...it's starting to catch up with me though, God willing I'll be able to play for another 30+ years.

After high school, I attended Virginia Tech and had an absolute blast there for the next five years of my life. After switching my major twice, I graduated in 2002 with a BS in Health and Physical Education and a certification to teach K-12. I knew going into my last semester (student teaching) that I had no intention to teach, but I didn't really know what I wanted to do so I finished out my degree anyway.
From there, I moved back to Loudoun County and began working full-time for a federal contractor that I had been working for during my breaks while at VA Tech. I am still with the same company today working in a special administrative position in support of our construction department.
After dating for 7 years (and attending college together), I married my longtime girlfriend and fellow '97 graduate, Angie Sumner, in September of 2003. We had our first daughter, Julie, in April 2004 and just recently had another baby girl, Kendall, in December of 2006. Adjusting to life with three girls has been quite interesting considering I grew up in a house dominated by males (God Bless my Mother). Currently, I spend most of my time bulking up and learning how to use small firearms in anticipation of my daughters' eventually dating and hoping that Julie and Kendall will be receptive to my no thongs while living under my roof policy.

I graduated from JMU Dec 2001 with a degree in Media Arts & Design (what the hell?). After deciding I didn't want to be the next Dan Rather I set up shop back in LoCo where I proceeded to live like I was still in college for the next 2 1/2 years. Meanwhile I had an awesome job working at the local mall where in fact I met the love of my life.
In Oct 2003 we decided to take off for sunny San Diego. Our time here has been outstanding and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. While on the west coast I somehow found myself in the mortgage banking industry. It's treated me very well until recently when I lost my job, now I know how the dot comers felt.
Fortunately living 2 miles from the beach has given me the opportunity to work on my tan. As I watch the waves of the beautiful Pacific Ocean I ponder the direction in which I want to go. Currently I'm stuck between male modeling or forming an 80's cover band.

After graduation I attended JMU and majored in English. After four (and a half) years I graduated with my BA and had no clue what to do next. I worked for a temp agency, and I held some very dull admin assistant positions for the first year. I then joined my mother, who owned her own company, and worked for her for about five years. We worked as equine brokers in Northern VA, basically selling show horses like a real estate agent would sell homes. It was interesting work, but also very time consuming and often stressful. I am glad for the experience, but felt it was time to move onto to something more stable with a set schedule. So, I signed up for Shenandoah University's Career Switcher program and received my teaching license. I did my student teaching at Blue Ridge and was offered a position for the 2007-2008 school year. I taught 7th grade English my first year, and I'm currently a 6th grade English teacher. I think I'm definitely more cut out for the younger ones. It's been interesting being at Blue Ridge. Very little has changed there, including many of the teachers. It was surreal at first to walk the halls of Blue Ridge as a teacher, but I definitely prefer this role to that of a middle schooler!
I got married this summer to my husband, Heath Payne. We have a home in Stephens City, VA with our one year old daughter, Farah. Being a mother has been a life changing experience, and I feel very blessed to have such a beautiful, bright daughter. Between Farah, work, and home I have little time for outside activities. I do make it a point to still read and hike with my dogs when I can, and I sporadically go through work out "kicks." I miss being around horses and having the opportunity to ride, but hope to pick that up again in the future.

Last 10 years, huh? Well, in a nutshell:
JMU for a semester, Evergreen State College for a year. Met my now husband and moved to Connecticut for three months then moved out to Oakland, California. Been here ever since.
A few of the more interesting happenings:
- I worked for four years at a sailing school and learned how to sail a boat!
- Lived in a warehouse (no, not a "live/work" loft) for three years with 12 other people and many animals putting on underground punk shows. Saw, heard and lived amazing experiences, but recently moved out to have more private space and focus more on school.
- Began traveling again (now that the funds are available) and most recently spent a week in Pisa, Italy and a week in England. Next trip on the horizon is to Japan to introduce the husband to my grandparents.

After high school I went to James Madison University and got a BS in Psychology and minor in Early Childhood Education. I got married on 6/28/03 to Mike Witt and then moved to Charlotte, NC due to his job placement as an InterVarsity staff worker at UNCC. We are so thankful for being sent there because it's just a fun place to live!
We've been able to travel in the summer and do missions work together because both of our schedules have student-free summers! In the summer of '05 we lived in Greensboro, NC for a month to do inner city missions and the following summer we got to go to Romania to teach English camps to Romanian college students. Both were incredible experiences. I was also able to go to Guatemala this past spring break and work with children in a mission house in Zone 18. We welcomed our first child into our family on the first day of the year! Callie Anne Witt was born on January 1st, 2009. Mike and I love being parents!
